Originally from Ticino, Mirto Marchesi began his career in the starred kitchen of the Italian restaurant Tivoli Cortina, before joining the brigade of the Chalet d'Adrien in Verbier, where he obtained one Michelin star. After a year and a half spent on a motorbike, the chef returned to the Swiss Alps where he worked as a chef at the renowned Chandolin Boutique Hotel.

Since 2021, Mirto Marchesi is the executive chef of the four restaurants of the Villars Alpine Resort, leaving his personal touch on each outlet, from traditional Swiss cuisine to Mediterranean-inspired gastronomic dining.
